At Hope Church we are excited to get to know you and your family. We want you to feel comfortable and at home the moment you walk through our doors. WHAT TO EXPECT
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 1706 Plymouth St in New Holstein, WI. The church building is across the street from the New Holstein High School.
When you arrive, most people park behind the building in our large parking lot. However, you can certainly park in the front of the building on the street as well. The main floor of our building is wheelchair accessible: Park on the street, and enter the building through the front doors.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Our service begins at 10AM. Doors open around 9:30AM, so you can arrive whenever you would like. We usually have coffee &breakfast treats in the lobby, so you can come a few minutes early to grab those, familiarize yourself with the church, and then grab a seat at a table.
If you have children, we would love for them to join our Hope Kids!
WHAT IS WORSHIP LIKE?
We begin each service with worship. Sometimes we have live worship, and sometimes we use a video on the screens. Either way, our desire is to create an atmosphere where you can worship God in whatever way is comfortable to you. You may see some people raise their hands, and others standing in quiet reflection. Whatever it looks like for you, our desire is to cultivate the presence of God.
WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE WILL I HEAR?
You’ll hear an encouraging Bible-based message by our lead Pastor Reba Henry or one of the other pastors at Hope Church. On occasion, we’ll have a guest speaker or missionary who will share an impactful and uplifting message.
HOW LONG IS SERVICE?
Our services usually last about 75-90 minutes. We generally end with a prayer of blessing or an opportunity for you to receive prayer one on one after service if desired.
WELCOME DESK
When you arrive, one of the most noticeable spots in the lobby is our welcome desk. This is where you can find out more information about what is happening at Hope Church or grab a cup of coffee. If it is your first time with us, we ask that you complete a Connect Card. We just want to connect & get to know you a bit.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING FOR MY KIDS?
Yes! Hope Kids is a place where your kids can have fun, grow, and discover just how much God loves them. All Hope Kids will join us during worship. After worship, they will be dismissed and your children (Pre K through sixth grade) can learn an age appropriate Bible lesson and participate in fun activities with other children their age in a secured area. When you arrive, you can sign them in at the welcome desk.
WHAT IS THE REASON FOR SITTING AT TABLES?
During some services we have a breakout discussion time where you can get to know the people at your table, share your thoughts about the service, and get your questions answered. We don't want people to come and leave without interacting with someone, feeling a part of the community, or engaging with God's word. Don't worry, we are friendly, and you can sit with us!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At Hope Church, you’ll see everything from suits to T-shirts and shorts. Wear what makes you feel comfortable—you’re among family here!
